Hotel Aquarius Dubrovnik

We loved visiting the Pelješac Cellars Festival and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. Great breakfast and friendly staff added to our stay. Perfect location with easy access to shops and bus stops!

The place was perfect and pretty and the staff were knowledgeable, the location was absolutely perfect right down to the Old Town. I was here for 2 nights and ate at in-house restaurant for lunch and dinner. I liked garden view, it was pleasant. Location: the hotel was very close to bus stops and beach and bus.

The property was charming small with very attentive staff at the young waiter.

Location excellent for access to lovely meals and shops and beach within 100 metres. The villa apartment we had was very good with a private balcony.

The fridge in the room was dirty - bottles had obviously be there for a long time - mold on the wine bottle and a sticky coke bottle.

I loved that it was just a short walk to beach spots and there were plenty of fantastic restaurants right around the corner, making it easy to enjoy local cuisine while soaking up the beautiful views of the Adriatic.

My stay was fantastic for a business trip. The room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast, which featured a wonderful variety of fresh options that helped kick-start my day. The staff were accommodating and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met during my time there.

The hotel was a very good value for the money. The staff was excellent, very knowledgeable about the area and happy to make recommendations on good restaurants, bars, etc. I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Dubrovnik. The hotel is not located right in the middle of the old city, though it is only a 5-10 minute bus ride away. I actually preferred not staying right in the middle of the old city, as it gets very packed with tourists.

Good location close to Lapad beach and bus station to Old Town. Also, in front of the hotel a nice promenade with restaurants and bars going to the sea.

housekeeping - definitely needs improvments

First off, the thing I really enjoyed was the generous breakfast selections-fresh pastries and quality coffee that kick-start your day right. The location is spot on for beach access. Public transport to the Old Town is just a short walk away.

Here's the kicker, the air conditioning in my room was noisy and dated. The swimming pool had short operating hours, closing at 19:00, which feels pretty early for a dip after a day of exploring. If you're expecting modern decor, the look's a bit stuck in the past, which might not appeal to everyone. Some guests also caused noise disturbances, especially with large tour groups crashing the peaceful vibe, but that can happen anywhere.

Good size room, nice breakfast with possibility to take coffee in the garden, balcony, free internet in the lobby.

One morning, the cleaning staff entered our room at 9am without knocking first. We were still in bed...

Its quite small which is really nice as the area can seem really touristy (especially during high season) and having somewhere a bit cosier to come back to after battling the crowds of the old town is nice.Staff were really lovely and helpful, food fine but overall a good base for exploring/ going to the beach rather than a hotel you want to spend a huge amount of time in.

They don't have a pool is all.
